Annual Meeting & Board Elections
Save the Date
We are beyond excited to announce our first Annual Meeting to be held on November 7th, 2020 from 1-2pm. The meeting will be held virtually to ensure the health and safety of our members. Please save the date and watch for more information!
Board of Directors: Two Vacant Seats
In conjunction with the Annual Meeting, and in accordance with our by-laws, we will also be holding elections for two vacant seats on the Board of Directors. Our Board of Directors is responsible for representing the best interests of the members in decision making for the co-op, including (but not limited to!) financial management, inventory, marketing, member recruitment & retention. The Board currently meets every other week by Zoom. It is helpful for Directors to have internet access, but the phone also works for joining the meetings. Outside of the commitment to meetings, time required varies by which projects you are involved in but averages to 7-10 hours per week. The term for Directors, per the by-laws, is three years.
Board Applications are available at this link to all members beginning September 1st through September 30th. We invite interested members to apply. If you have trouble accessing the link, please contact us.
Completed Board Applications must be received no later than September 30th, 2020. Your application can be submitted by email to email@example.com (please list subject as Board of Directors Application attn: Board Secretary) or by mail to:

We are looking for one member interested in helping our Board Secretary, Jennie Baltutis, count ballots, sometime the first week of November. If you are interested, please reach out to us at email@example.com
The candidates elected to join the Board of Directors will be presented at the annual meeting.
Face Mask Drive
You may have seen on Facebook, we are supporting a community effort to collect reusable masks for folks who are houseless. Concern for community is one of the seven cooperative principles, and we look forward to supporting in this way. Pastor Melissa Pohlman at Central Luther Church works directly with people experiencing homelessness. Their program distributes about 150 masks each week. This is an ongoing need. If you would like to contribute masks, please send them to our P.O. Box:
