Two-Year Lease Signed & Website Offers Memberships Online

Happy New Year! We’re ringing in 2020 with some fantastic news!

Two-Year Lease Signed

We signed the lease for 3400 Bloomington Avenue on December 4th!
We’re excited to have the keys and to begin preparing the building for membership events and opening in the spring. Thank you to all our members. Your investment has been vital to the co-op’s success and we are so appreciative. The Board is hard at work on next steps and opening operations tasks and the Marketing Committee is filling the calendar with quilt guild meetings and upcoming events.

Our New Year’s Resolution - Increase membership, increase membership, and increase membership!

We need your continued support for this. There are several funding opportunities we are applying for that are essential for us to move forward. These are in addition to the funding we are finalizing with Shared Capital Cooperative. All of these options require a steady increase in membership. More members will ensure our Spring opening does not push further into the future.

If you’re already a member, send your friends to www.quiltshopcoop.com and invite them to make a New Year’s resolution to support Minnesota’s only fabric co-op.

If you’re on the mailing list and not yet a member, now is the time. Navigate to the Membership part of the site and join.

A membership share is $120. Remember this is a one-time lifetime investment.

The foundation of a cooperative business is its members. Your initial investment and the purchases you make once the doors are open are what make a cooperative business model sustainable and rooted in community. Any sewing or quilting project brings together a variety of fabrics, colors, textures, shapes and sizes and fashions them into a whole. A cooperative model works just this way and we hope you’ll join our community. We are looking forward to an exciting year with you.

Warm Wishes,

Quilt Shop Co-op Team
Fabric. Notions. Community.
